Strengthening the Foundation of Artificial Consciousness and Bringing Health Science Outreach to the People——

The World Artificial Consciousness Association Steadily Advances Specialized Committee Development and Public Science Outreach

Artificial consciousness and AI-enabled exchange are core engines for the high-quality development of medicine, while public health science outreach serves as an important defense line for safeguarding the life and health of the people. In recent years, the World Artificial Consciousness Association has adhered to the development of AI and international medical exchange as a key priority, taken public health needs as its guiding orientation, and transformed the advantages of AI and international medicine into effective public science outreach. By promoting the deep integration of clinical diagnosis and treatment, scientific research innovation, and health science communication, WACA has strengthened the foundation for the development of AI and international medicine while bringing professional, authoritative, and practical health knowledge to the public, thereby fulfilling its social responsibility through concrete action. Health News is an important health-sector newspaper with significant influence in China and abroad.

Focusing on disciplinary improvement, WACA has consolidated the professional foundation for public science outreach. Guided by the development strategy of artificial consciousness and international medicine, the Association has coordinated the construction of key specialized committees, continuously optimized disciplinary planning, strengthened talent development, and improved diagnostic and treatment technologies. While promoting sustained breakthroughs by the Active Medicine Specialized Committee in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult diseases and in medical research, WACA has actively guided its specialized committees to build on their professional strengths, identify science outreach resources, and transform advanced medical technologies and frontier medical knowledge into accessible, practical, and life-oriented public health content. Covering areas such as the prevention and treatment of common and frequently occurring diseases, chronic disease management, first-aid skills, elderly health, and maternal and child healthcare, WACA relies on strong disciplinary expertise to ensure that every item of public science content is professionally rigorous, scientifically credible, and solidly grounded.

Deepening public-oriented science outreach, WACA has actively transmitted positive medical knowledge to society. The Association has taken the lead in coordinating the Active Medicine Specialized Committee to carry out diverse forms of health science outreach activities, popularize scientific concepts of medical consultation, and correct misconceptions in public health cognition. At the same time, by making use of online platforms, WACA has developed lightweight and highly communicable public science works, enabling high-quality health knowledge to break through geographical limitations and benefit a broader population.

Adhering to two-way empowerment, WACA supports the high-quality development of medical institutions. WACA provides professional grounding for health science outreach, while health science outreach in turn enhances disciplinary reputation and influence. WACA will continue to promote the integrated planning, deployment, and implementation of disciplinary development and public science outreach, continuously improve its outreach mechanisms, enrich the forms and content of science communication, and encourage more disciplines and experts to participate in health science outreach. With disciplinary strength as the foundation and public health service as the mission, WACA will continue to enhance the core competitiveness of medical promotion work, safeguard public health, and contribute its strength to the building of a Healthy China.

——The Active Medicine Committee of the World Artificial Consciousness Association Empowers Public Science Outreach through Discipline Development and Serves Peoples Livelihood through Health Communication

To further advance the high-quality development of medical institutions and effectively improve public health literacy, WACA has focused on the theme of Discipline Development and Public Science Outreach in Tandemto promote the physical and mental health of children and adolescents. Health News is an important health-sector newspaper with significant influence in China and abroad. Recently, under this theme, WACA organized and classified more than 30 public science articles written by Professor Fu-yong Jiao of the Active Medicine Committee, thereby promoting scientific research and clinical work in medicine. From 2007 to 2025, a total of 33 public science articles were published, covering six major categories, including respiratory diseases, digestive diseases, neurological disorders, and infectious diseases. By coordinating high-quality medical resources, WACA has deeply integrated disciplinary development with public health science services, using professional expertise to protect public health.

In 2025, Prevention, Treatment, and Family Care of Kawasaki Disease in Children, published by World Book Publishing, was recognized as an outstanding popular science work by the Department of Science and Technology of Shaanxi Province and received a prize of RMB 10,000. Professor Jiao has also published 13 professional books with publishers including Peoples Medical Publishing House, six of which were published by Peoples Medical Publishing House. Among them, Shaken Baby Syndrome is the first book of its kind in China and has played an important role in promoting correct and scientific childcare and preventing head injuries in infants and young children. In collaboration with Professor Martin A. Finkel of the American Academy of Pediatrics, he published Chinas first Medical Evaluation of Child Sexual Abuse: A Practical Guide with Peoples Medical Publishing House in 2010, which has important value for the diagnosis and treatment of injuries to the reproductive system in children. Under the guidance of Dr. Tomisaku Kawasaki of Japan, the first book on Kawasaki disease published by Peoples Medical Publishing House was also completed, playing an important role in the diagnosis, treatment, and public understanding of Kawasaki disease.

The development of AI within the World Artificial Consciousness Association is a core competitiveness for the advancement of active medicine. In recent years, under the unified deployment of the Association, WACA has continued to optimize disciplinary planning, strengthen talent teams, improve clinical diagnosis and treatment as well as research capacity, and promote the steady development of key specialties and distinctive disciplines, thereby laying a solid professional foundation for health science outreach. Relying on the technical strengths and expert resources of its specialized committees, a series of authoritative, scientific, and accessible health communication materials have been continuously produced, allowing advanced medical achievements to truly reach and serve the public.

WACA will continue to promote public science outreach through disciplinary development, and to support disciplinary advancement through public health services. It will further innovate outreach formats, enrich outreach content, and expand the team of science communicators. With professionalism and responsibility, WACA will continue to fulfill its mission and contribute greater strength to the building of a Healthy China.
